Old New Borrowed Blue

Our Wedding Day, November 10, 2013

The Universe has been at it again!  While at Timberlock this summer, Jeff proposed to me.

He clearly had it planned. but he probably hadn't counted on the weather during our twelve mile hike being so humid.  Before we even hit the mid point of our hike, I was hot, cranky, tired, and hungry, whining about everything. Thankfully, there is a hikers bridge over the Sacandaga River where we stopped to rest and snack.  When we had recovered our energy a bit and were packing up to finish our hike, Jeff asked me to be his wife.

So even though I was not in a good mood, didn't look my best, wasn't on my best behavior, Jeff could see past all of that to his future wife!   One thing is for sure, we were nothing but smiles after that!

We decided on a simple ceremony in our living room, with our kids and my mother.  It was wonderful to have them here to share in the day!  Josh took pictures for us.  My mother put her famous finishing touches on the house.  Even Grace made an appearance.

Now we have the rest of our married life stretching out before us, and the sky is looking very blue indeed!
